Okapuka horse riding safaris and endurance Namibia

Okapuka Horse Safaris, established in 2000, is situated on a 10,000 hectare malaria-free game farm near Windhoek and has riding rights throughout the surrounding valleys and mountains, covering an area larger than 20,000 hectares.

 

The team at Okapuka Horse Safaris consists of the grooms Wilhelm and Mathias, and Ingeborg, who look after their 21 Arabian horses.

 

The  love for Arabian horses started when Ingeborg was still a youngster. During one of her dressage competitions as a child she fell in love with a gorgeous white Arabian horse performing some magnificent dressage steps and promised herself “Later, when I’m all grown up I want to have an Arabian horse”. Now, years later she is the proud owner of a herd of 20 Arabian horses. Dreams can come true!

 

Not only does Ingeborg breed her own horses, but she’s also a keen endurance rider taking many of her guests and horses to national and international competitions.

 

Over the years Ingeborg has developed customer loyalty with many guests returning year after year. Of course, the team hopes to see you soon for an unforgettable riding experience.
